EARLY BIRD
UPDATE ON SCENEHOUSE SUMMER PROGRAMME:
Following on from the cancellation of the Edinburgh Festivals this year, we have taken the decision to cancel the Scenehouse Summer Programme 2020.
We are working away behind the scenes to try to create some sort of alternative teaching for those of you who might find this useful for the interim, and will be sharing details soon.
We will also be back , when it is safe to do so, with on - site courses and are very much looking forward to that!
In the meantime please all stay safe, and creative!
At Scenehouse we like to have a proper dialogue with our applicants. Our students form an intimate and highly focussed working unit, so it’s worth our time to get to know you. Therefore we like to start our recruitment process in good time.
Each year we offer a very generous discount to early applicants. Our “Early Bird” offer reduces course fees by around 20%. And there are further savings to be made by booking courses together as the Full Design Course or the Scenehouse Programme.
Successful applicants must pay their fees by April 30th to qualify for this promotion.
EARLY BIRD FEES:
COURSE UK/EU Student Non UK/EU Student
Scenehouse Design 1 790 955
Scenehouse Design 2 790 955
Scenehouse Full Design Course (Des 1 &2 combined) 1550 1900
Scenehouse Make 825 985
Scenehouse Paint 440 600
Scenehouse Programme 2208 3190
What do the fees cover?
The fees cover the tuition costs of the course and also for Design 1 and 2 the entry price of a weekly theatre visit. Whilst students will be expected to provide their own equipment, most materials for the course are provided by Scenehouse.
Students will be expected to arrange their own travel for theatre visits.
The Scenehouse programme is not a residential course and students are required to arrange their own accommodation and food. These are not included in the fee. Students are also expected to cover their own travel costs on a daily basis, including daytime and evening visits to venues for tours and performances.
